Abstract

Back ground and Aim: Nowadays there is a great interest in using laser as a new technology in different field of dentistry as an adjunct to conventional treatments in order to improve treatment outcomes or patients convenience. Implant dentistry is one of the revolutionary fields of dentistry that we can use laser technology in different steps from insertion of implant to treatment of periimplantitis.in this review We are going to introduce how could we use Erbium laser family in different steps o f implantology and suggest appropriate settings for their usages.

Material and method: Reviewing of related publications.

Results and conclusion: Reviewing of related articles show us that if we use appropriate settings, we can use Erbium laser family to improve treatment outcomes and patients comfort and acceptance.
